1. Calculate Horxn for the following reaction (note you will need a table of standard enthalpies of formation.) You might also print out the answers to the Enthalpy DCI to help with these calculations.

2. Using the data from 1b above answer the following question. A 0.500 g sample of sodium metal is added to a 50.0 mL sample of water initially at 22.5 °C. Assuming no heat is lost to the container, calculate the final temperature of the mixture.
