New grades are posted. Problem set scores up to PS9, and the first DCI/Clicker PS (#19) are now available on your Personal Grades Page. Send an e-mail if you have questions.

I have posted the answers to PS7 - PS9 on your Personal Problem Set page. Also links to your answers are there.

ACA#19, ACA#20, BCE#19 and BCE#20 are now available on your Personal Page. You will need a calculator for the ACA and the BCE.

Updated Grades information is now available on your Personal Page. I have PS1-7 and the RPS, 2 BCE/ACA, and 2 Exams. The overall class average is 63%.

For equilibrium stuff coming up we will want to use the Titanium calculator. Checkout page 49 (Solving Equations) on how to enter and solve polynomials. Practice that and you will be empowered!

Exam II scores are now posted. Thank you for your patience. Exam II average is 51.7. Grades will be posted later this evening. The class average at this point is 63.7% so that is great.

Your responses to a subset of PS7 questions are to be submitted using the HELP! link on the Problem Set Page on your Personal Page by 11:59 pm on Tuesday, March 5, 2013.

PS#7 is now available on your Personal Page.

Exam I is graded. The average was 57.6. Swag on Thursday. Exams will be returned in laboratory beginning on Friday. If you want any of the questions on the Exam regraded. YOU MUST return your exam to your TA before you leave laboratory the day you receive your exam. Note on the front of the exam the question(s) you want regraded and we will look at them again to be sure we were consistent. If you have any specific concerns you are welcome to talk to me. Be sure to bring your exam with you so I can review it.

To avoid the expense of a physical clicker you may also you an iPhone (iOS) or an android smartphone. Download the application from Turning Technologies (called ResponseWare for iOS). Using the app register by creating a logon. When you create your logon you will receive a DeviceID. You need to give me that DeviceID (see the link on your Personal Page). To use your phone in class you will start up the app, logon with your created userid and then enter the 6-digit code that I write on the board at the beginning of class. That does it.....well maybe. You may need to go to www.rwpoll.com to create an account and obtain a DeviceID.
