The Before, During and After Class Learning Cycle Activities is an NSF supported materials development project designed to produce sets of “before”, “during”, and “after” class meetings that use an inquiry oriented instructional strategy (the Learning Cycle Approach). These activities for before, during, and after a particular class meeting are linked together and address specific learning objectives for the course.

DO NOT GIVE THIS WEBSITE ADDRESS TO YOUR STUDENTS!

GIVE STUDENTS THIS LINK!

Below select a particular Unit. The new page that is loaded will list the Learning Objectives for that Unit. Below the set of LOs is a list of the BCEs, DCIs and ACAs for that Unit. The clickable links that are provided are for your review. Give students the link (http://intro.chem.okstate.edu/BDA.html) so they can access any BCE, DCI or ACA that you assign. Finally a link is provided where you can access all of the responses to a particular BCE or ACA. The responses are anonymous. If you require names for your students please contact John Gelder (john.gelder@okstate.edu) ahead of time for information to facilitate additional information about responses.
