Grades for the first two Problem Sets are posted, along with your Clicker DCI info for last Tuesday and Thursday lectures. Checkout your Personal Grades Page link.



Next week's laboratory experiment is now available on your Personal Assignment Page or the course Syllabus Page. Check out Week #3 on the Assignment Page and scroll to the bottom of the page. Click on the link to download the experiment write-up. Printout the activity, complete the pre-lab questions and bring it to laboratory next week. Pre-lab questions are due at the beginning of discussion, not at the beginning of laboratory, so be aware.

Thank you for all your hard work on the Review PS problems and PS1 problems. Go to the ProblemSet link on your Personal Page and click on Feedback for your Responses. I have indicated whether each of your response (submitted by the 10:30 am Tuesday, January 21, 2014) is R or W. If wrong go ahead and figure out what you did wrong and fix it, then re-submit your response. You may have until Friday, January 24, 2014 at 11:59 pm to correct wrong responses. If the Grading Information link is active check it out for some hints as to what common errors may have been made.


The due date for the Review Problem Set Problems will remain the same. I have modified the due date(s) for PS#1 on your Personal Problem Set Page.


Be sure to checkout the course syllabus. It lists the dates and times for our common exams. They are on Wednesdays at 5:30 pm.

The first thing you need to do to access materials for this class is to complete the Secret Identification (SID) form. Click on the SID#/Name link in the left frame and complete the form. You will receive an e-mail from Dr. Gelder indicating your SID has been accepted. Once you have entered an SID, fill out the additional form for some extra credit, and then you can go to your Personal page. On your Personal Page check out the Assignment Page (what is happening in class), and get your personal Review Problem Set.
