Exam I average is 61.8! Sweet!! Remember when you receive your exam from TA in lab, you should review it. If you have ANY questions about grading identify the question you are concerned about and return the exam to your TA BEFORE you leave the lab. We will review to determine if any change should be made.
If you have not watched the Safety Video and taken the Safety Quiz you will not be able to begin laboratory the week of January 29, 2018. Go to PS244 at least one day prior to your laboratory to arrange to view the video.
Tom Moulton will have weekly practice sessions on Tuesday's beginning at 6:00 pm in PS109. Ishan will have weekly practice sessions on Thursday's beginning at 5:00 pm in PS109. Salik will have weekly practice sessions on Friday's beginning at 3:30 pm in PS109.
The
first thing you need to do to access materials for this class is to complete
the Secret Identification (SID) form. Click on the SID#/Name link in the left
frame and complete the form. You will receive an e-mail from Dr. Gelder indicating
your SID has been accepted. Once you have entered an SID you can go to your Personal page. On your Personal Page check out the Assignment Page (what is happening in class),
and get your personal Review Problem Set and Problem Set #1 from the Problem Set link.
Be
sure to bring your copy of the During Class Inventions and Computer Lab Activities
Workbook to lecture and laboratory class.
For this course you need a textbook (can be Tro; A Molecular Approach; 4th Edition; Pearson Publishing), the CHEM 1515 Student Laboratory Manual and During Class Inventions and Computer Laboratory Activities
Volume II, 3rd Edition, Abraham, Gelder and Greenbowe. Also you will need a TurningPoint clicker for class at 3:30 pm on Tuesday and Thursday.
