The room assignment for all three hour exams has been determined. We will take the first three hour exams in ES317. That is the same room as our lecture. Please bring your ID to each exam. If your TA or I do not recognize you and you do not have your ID, you will not be able to take the exam. I've added some links covering Organic Chemistry to the Assignment Page for this week. Scroll to the After Laboratory section of you assignment page. For exam I you will need to be able name and draw complete Lewis structures for alkanes. You will also be expected to name and draw complete Lewis structures for structural isomers for any alkane of haloalkane (an alkane with a halogen...like fluorine, chlorine, bromine or iodine).The
first thing you need to do to access materials for this class is to complete
the Secret Identification (SID) form. Click on the SID#/Name link in the left
frame and complete the form. You will receive an e-mail from Dr. G. indicating
your SID has been accepted. Once you have entered an SID, fill out the additional
form for some extra credit, and then you can go to your Personal page. On your Personal Page check out the Assignment Page (what is happening in class),
and get your personal Review Problem Set. If you want to see a video covering the CHEM 1515 Web site than checkout the video podcast. Click on the Podcast link in the left frame to learn how to subscribe to the CHEM 1515 podcasts for this semester. Remember laboratory does meet this week. Students who have laboratory on Monday (sections 1 and 2) will also check in their locker equipment besides viewing the Safety video and taking the Safety Quiz. Students who have Tuesday lab will NOT checkin, but will view the Safety Video and take the Safety Quiz.Be
