Hurray!! Grades are posted. You have rock and rolled!! The Exam III average is 65.9!! That is higher than recent Exam III averages. The class average is 66%!!

Exam III is Wednesday, April 5, 2017 beginning at 5:30 pm in the room provided on your Personal Page.

New grades are posted. Some clicker data has not been uploaded. Overall Course Percentage is 63.2%





Exam II average is currently 50.8. That is a drop from our first exam. The overall class average dropped from 64.7% to 62.2%. I'm confident that the average will start climbing shortly. Remember if you wish to discuss your individual position in the class let's try to setup a time.



I've updated grades. The overall course % will be the percent I will be using for 6-weeks grades which are due by March 1. I will not be able to have Exam 1 grades completed before the 6-weeks grades are due




Laboratory for the Week of February 28th is Introduction to Spectroscopy in the CHEM 1515 lab manual. There are pre-lab questions for this experiment.



Exam 1 average is 58.6. Awesome!!!

A review of the last three class (1/31, 2/2 and 2/7) attendence data based on clicker questions and homework percentage (based on five problem sets), yielded this information.

The first thing you need to do to access materials for this class is to complete the Secret Identification (SID) form. Click on the SID#/Name link in the left frame and complete the form. You will receive an e-mail from Dr. Gelder indicating your SID has been accepted. Once you have entered an SID, fill out the additional form for some extra credit, and then you can go to your Personal page. On your Personal Page check out the Assignment Page (what is happening in class), and get your personal Review Problem Set and Problem Set #1.
