All of your grades (PS, LB, EX) are posted on your Personal Grades Page. I'll be submitting grades in the next few hours or tomorrow am (Tuesday, May 10, 2016) depending on the weather. Thank you again for all of your hard work this semester. You may look at your Exam IV and V by dropping by my office. This summer is busy with workshops so send an e-mail. Otherwise drop by in the Fall.
The Web Survey for CHEM 1515 Spring 2016 is now available on your Personal Page. Look in the main frame for a message with a link to the Survey or check the link to the PLE Page. Check back to the Announcements Page, I am working on one additional survey that if completed I will award some extra credit points.
Overall average course percent is currently 65.71% based on163 students.
Exam 3 grades are posted, along with update PS and LB scores. Exam 3 average is 67.7!!! SWEET! Overall course average is currently 64.7% which is great. I've also posted the DCI info from February 18, 2016 to March 24, 2016. Also BCE/ACA PS is posted for the 3rd exam period. Grade predictions are coming shortly (before class).
Exam I results are just in...the average on the exam was 57, which is not bad. The overall class average is between 61% and 64% depending on how you play with the numbers. Exams are returned during lab. If you want any question(s) regraded, return your exam to your TA BEFORE leaving laboratory and we will review the lab at our next Staff meeting.
Some College students spend up to one fifth of class time on digital devices.
The
first thing you need to do to access materials for this class is to complete
the Secret Identification (SID) form. Click on the SID#/Name link in the left
frame and complete the form. You will receive an e-mail from Dr. Gelder indicating
your SID has been accepted. Once you have entered an SID, fill out the additional
form for some extra credit, and then you can go to your Personal page. On your Personal Page check out the Assignment Page (what is happening in class),
and get your personal Review Problem Set and Problem Set #1.
For this course you need a textbook (can be Tro; A Molecular Approach; 3rd Edition; Pearson Publishing), the CHEM 1515 Student Laboratory Manual and During Class Inventions and Computer Laboratory Activities Volume II, 3rd Edition, Abraham, Gelder and Greenbowe. Also you will need a TurningPoint clicker for class at 3:30 pm on Tuesday and Thursday.
Be sure to checkout the PS0Comments if you are having questions on some of the Review Problem Set Problems.
