The CHEM 1515 final is Wednesday, May 9, 2018 beginning at 4:00 pm in the same room you have taken your hour exams. Exam IV covers content since Exam III, Survival organic Chemistry Part II, the Electrolysis experiment and the Crystal Violet kinetics lab. Exam V covers Exams I - III. If you missed questions on those exams you need to review those concepts as they are likely questions on the final.

Did someone leave a recently purchased College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology shirt in PS141 on Thursday after class?

HELP! Session on Monday, May 7th beginning at 6 pm in PS101.

Answers to PS12 - PS14 are now available on your Personal Problem Set Page. Working on linking the Expert's responses and your responses. Feedback for PS12 and PS13 are now available.

ACA28 and BCE28 are now available on your Personal Page. Both may be helpful for problems on PS14 that are due Friday, May 4, 2018. For credit do the ACA by Monday, May 7, 2018 and the BCE by Tuesday, May 8, 2018.

The average on Exam III was 60.88. Back in the 60's!!!

The updated average for Exam II is 53.1. New grades are posted. Let me know if anything looks strange.

Exam I updated average is 63.4! Sweet!! Remember when you receive your exam from TA in lab, you should review it. If you have ANY questions about grading identify the question you are concerned about and return the exam to your TA BEFORE you leave the lab. We will review to determine if any change should be made.

Tom Moulton will have weekly practice sessions on Tuesday's beginning at 6:00 pm in PS109. Ishan will have weekly practice sessions on Thursday's beginning at 5:00 pm in PS109. Salik will have weekly practice sessions on Friday's beginning at 3:30 pm in PS109.

If you miss class, or missed something in class be sure to check the CHEM 1515 Video link near the top of the main frame on your Personal Page. Check them out.

The first thing you need to do to access materials for this class is to complete the Secret Identification (SID) form. Click on the SID#/Name link in the left frame and complete the form. You will receive an e-mail from Dr. Gelder indicating your SID has been accepted. Once you have entered an SID you can go to your Personal page. On your Personal Page check out the Assignment Page (what is happening in class), and get your personal Review Problem Set and Problem Set #1 from the Problem Set link.

Be sure to bring your copy of the During Class Inventions and Computer Lab Activities Workbook to lecture and laboratory class.

For this course you need a textbook (can be Tro; A Molecular Approach; 4th Edition; Pearson Publishing), the CHEM 1515 Student Laboratory Manual and During Class Inventions and Computer Laboratory Activities Volume II, 3rd Edition, Abraham, Gelder and Greenbowe. Also you will need a TurningPoint clicker for class at 3:30 pm on Tuesday and Thursday.
